Happy Monday! Hope you are all well!

Today is Day 7 from my 12 Days of Christmas and I have another easy DIY for you! This time I am up-cycling an old and unused tray that I have had for years. I was seriously about to get rid of it by donating it, but then I thought I would give it one last try at redemption.

CHECK OUT all of the 12 Days of Christmas here!

Trying to hit 2 birds with one stone there. ?

I use a spray tent whenever I spray paint inside my garage (especially in the winter). It’s the best thing ever for spray painting! I think this is actually one of the things I have used the most in my DIY years. It’s great to capture overspray! If you haven’t gotten one, it’s definitely a must have for the Christmas wish list!

Then with my Cricut Maker I made this cute vinyl decal. This decal is also available in my shop

I tried very carefully to place it in the center. Talk about pressure!

Then I got the crazy idea to hand paint some holly leaves and berries on 2 corners of the decal.

For the berries, I used a berry off a Dollar Tree bush, put it on a toothpick, then used it as a stamp!

Talk about craftiness! ?

It worked out pretty good actually. I used the color Crimson by Waverly for this.

And that was it!!! Eventually I will probably seal it with a clear coat, but since I will just be using it once this Christmas it should be okay for now.

I am sure the kids are going to be excited to actually have a tray this year to put mommy’s amazing sugar cookies on!

Seriously, if you haven’t tried the recipe you totally should!
